Our group is a cooperation between two architecture students and one landscape architecture student to simulate large-scale collaborations. This project discusses the implications of the new metro system that will be built in central cities of Israel in the next ten years. The key questions were proper population density and the ability of urban spaces to adjust and evolve respectively. The project is an urban space that combines intense urbanity with a relaxed environment. In this urban space mass transportation will be built in parallel to the increase in density, hence our search for moments of peace. The project consists of relaxation areas located in an active urban environment. The heart of the project focuses on solutions for the urban space that will enable a living and dynamic environment, with moments of contentment that encourage inner peace. At the same time, the urban space is taking into account environmental values with more greenery for a sustainable future. All of these fit together in an urban area based on the "ring", a space that functions as a relaxation anchor and the meeting point between an intense outdoor area and an internal relaxed area. Our planning contains values that may seem contradicting, but in fact, the combination will produce rich and varied urban situations.
